Afghan women are currently struggling with social isolation, lack of education, lack of English language and stress.
As being family women who don’t speak English, these mothers feel that they can not venture outside their homes, and this fear takes away their opportunity to get out in the world and do simple things like buying groceries or picking up the children from school.
We aim to empower the women through English language classes, information sessions, driving lessons and leadership training. We believe these programs we make available for them will bring them out into society, become more active and maybe even offer any skills they may have to Australia.
